hey that looks like quite a rig. So there's a timer and it kicks out a few apples every day? Is that right?

Yes exactly it has an 12 volt electric actuator it can be programed to feed as many as five times a day or as little as one.It can be hung from a tree or free stand but the bears would put a hurting on it on the ground....It will dispense, apples, corn, carrots, sugar beets, and im thinking any kind of chunky bear bait....
As for price you can P.M. me or email....They are pricey buy so is gas and time a few trips a year you didnt have to make would pay for itself..My camp is 2 hours each way each trip is $100.00...I put the feeder in an area that would be impossible to bait on a regular basis during hunting season..But one fill up it should last almost the entire time...
